The Italian company Sordina has more than 120 history in manufacturing of operating tables and offers at present full range of first class high quality operating tables suitable for all surgical applications. The offered series are MT and ST. The MT System comprises two types of inter­changeable surgical table tops and three models of column bases: transferable, on wheels and fixed to the floor. Series ST are mounted on movable bases with wide and reliable wheels.  The structure is made of a special highly and light resistant stainless alloy and could have from 4 to 11 modular sections.  Manufactured without any welding, jutting edges or bulky mechanical parts, the surfaces are extremely smooth to make cleaning and disinfection easier. The electro-hydraulic movements make the system more solid, without any endplay and with very smooth and precise movements compared to electromechanical systems. Series ST is offered also with cost-effective manual hydraulic control based on micro-hydraulic components with extremely low oil consumption.  Antistatic, latex free, radio translucent pads are also available in a new anti-decubitus material.
