After Varna, Veliko Tarnovo and Nesebar, for fourth time in a row Dutchmed International EOOD was General Sponsor of national anesthesia and ICU congress – “XVI-th National Anesthesia and ICU Congress with International Participation” – held in Sofia form 1-st till 4-th of October.
The congress attended more than 50 prominent anesthesiologists from all over the world as well as all our outstanding specialists.
Dutchmed International EOOD attended with large booth and company presentation in the official program of the congress.
During the congress was elected new management of The Scientific Society of The Anesthesiologists in Bulgaria.

18 September 2009 – 16:09SEPTEMBER 2009 Chimimport AD

Dutchmed International EOOD successfully performed the order of our big Bulgarian holding, “Chimimport” AD, for urgent delivery of 5 modern intensive care neonatal incubators as well as up-to-date phototherapy lamp.
On initiative of Mrs. Mariela Mitkova, wife of the Managing Director of “Chimimport” AD, these so needed equipment was donated to the hospital in Shumen and in 3 hospitals in Varna.
For the speed of the delivery and the quality of the performed installations the company was acknowledged with special thanks from Mrs. Mitkova.

Two years in a row Dutchmed International EOOD successfully performed orders form Communication Workers Union in Ireland for delivery of medical equipment for pediatric clinics and departments in the country purchased with contributed funds from the Irish workers.
Modern equipment, including intensive care neonatal incubators, was installed in the House for medico-social care of children in Pleven as well as in the Pediatric Department of the District Hospital in Vidin.
For the well done job, the team of Dutchmed International EOOD was acknowledged with special thanks from Mr. Carl Smith, Coordinator of the Donation Intiative.
Letter of thanks was received also from Dr. Kostova, Director of the House for medico-social care of children in Pleven.

Dutchmed International EOOD successfully with high quality and in time performed big public orders for 22 specialized modular patient monitors, 5 central monitoring stations and 150infusion pumps for the renovated Central Recovery in the University Emergency Care Hospital “N.I.Pirogov” in Sofia.
The total amount of the delivered equipment is above 1 200 000 BGL.
For the well-timed delivery and the quality of the performed mounting and installation activities, the Sales and the Service teams of the company were recognized with special thanks from Prof. Milan Milanov and Doc. Stoyan Milanov.

On initiative and under the aegis of Prof. Karadimov, National Anesthesia and ICU Consultant to the Ministry of Health, on 27-th of June in Pleven was held round table for the problems in the anesthesia and intensive care in the country.
The meeting attended large numbers of chiefs of anesthesia and ICU chairs, clinics and departments from all over the country.
Dutchmed International EOOD was among the few invited specially invited companies and attended as equivalent partner in the discussions around the round table.
There were discussed extremely important questions such as respecting of the anesthesia standards, introducing of algorithms for struggle against poor quality equipment, drugs and consumables, the leakage and insufficiency of anesthesia nurses, improvement of the base for the anesthesia post-graduated students, as well as multiple problems in the guild.

18 May 2009 – 16:07MAY 2009 Neonatology Conference

Dutchmed International EOOD in succession time took active participation in big event of the Bulgarian Neonatology Association – “IV-th National Neonatology Conference with International Participation”, held in Veliko Tarnovo from 28-th till 30-th of May.
In the official program of the conference was included lecture of Mr. Herbert Murlasits, Respiratory therapeutist from Vienna who with attractive presentation proved the benefits of the non-invasive respiratory support of neonates with the unique device SiPAP of Care Fusion /USA/, the successor of Viasys Healthcare.
The company attended also with attractive booth where was demonstrated high class neonatal ventilator, model Avea Comprehensive produced by Care Fusion /USA/.
There were shown multiple breathing modes and respiratory maneuvers on which this device is capable.

In Rhodos, Greece, was held great anesthesia and intensive care congress with wide international participation.
From Bulgarian side attended prof. Ivan Smilov, Chairman of The Scientific Society of The Anesthesiologists in Bulgaria, doc. Platikanov, Chief of Anesthesia and ICU Department to the University Hospital “Saint Marina” in Varna and Dr. Carel van Bilderbeek, Managing Director of Dutchmed International EOOD.

With the assistance of Dutchmed International EOOD, District “Primorski” to Varna Municipality donated up-to-date intensive care neonatal incubator to House for medico-social care of children in district Vinitca. The donation was possible after on the necessary funds were collected from District “Primorski” to Varna Municipality, Honorary Consulship for Republic Germany and France in Varna, “Balkanstar Automotive” – Varna, “Carting Track” – Varna and other contributors.
The company was recognized with thankfulness from Mr. Andreev, Deputy Major of District “Primorski”.

On initiative of Mrs. Eleonora van Bilderbeek, the Management of Dutchmed International EOOD decided to donate intensive care neonatal incubator to the Neonatal Department of the District Hospital in Shumen.
Mrs. Eleonora van Bilderbeek was touched of the heartrending statue in “Trud” newspaper describing how two prematurely born children were put in one incubator because of absence of sufficient incubators in the department.
The delivery of the new intensive care neonatal incubator was arranged extremely fast.
Later Dr. Stoikova, the Chief of the Neonatal Department, sent special letter of thanks to the company.
